closed beta — invite required

Your always-on dev computer in the cloud.

A persistent Linux machine that's yours: VS Code in the browser, a real desktop with Chromium, native SSH, Docker — and enough uptime to let your coding agents work while you sleep.

$ ssh mybox.coder
dev@mybox:~$ docker compose up -d
dev@mybox:~$ claude "refactor the billing module" &
dev@mybox:~$ logout # the box keeps working

One machine. Every surface you already use.

VS Code in the browser

Full code-server on your machine — extensions, terminals, debugging. Open a tab, keep coding exactly where you left off.

Built for 24/7 AI agents

Leave Claude Code, aider, or your own agents running around the clock. The machine never sleeps when your laptop lid closes.

A real Linux desktop

Ubuntu with XFCE and Chromium, streamed to any browser. Test UIs, run browsers, use GUI tools — it's a computer, not a container.

Native SSH everywhere

One-time setup, then plain `ssh yourbox.coder` from VS Code Remote-SSH, Cursor, JetBrains Gateway, or your phone.

Docker + sudo included

Passwordless sudo and Docker preinstalled on fast local NVMe. apt install what you want; it's your machine.

Persistent and always on

Long builds, background jobs, dev servers with a real IP. State survives between sessions — nothing to re-clone, ever.

How it works

  1. 01

    Redeem your invite

We're in closed beta. Sign up with an invite code and get approved — takes minutes, not days.

  2. 02

    Pick your region

US East or EU Central. Your browser measures latency to both and suggests the fastest — you stay in charge.

  3. 03

    Open anything

VS Code, web terminal, full desktop, or native SSH. Provisioning typically takes under two minutes.

Have an invite code?

We approve every account by hand while we're in closed beta — free compute attracts the wrong crowd otherwise. If you have a code, you're two minutes from your machine.
